Yoga
Good for all bodies, yoga involves exercises that range from meditative to physically vigorous to stretch and strengthen the body. By using movement, breath, posture, relaxation and meditation, yoga encourages harmony between body and mind and symbolizes balance in every area of life.
I can highly recommend Body & Energy for yoga classes and massage! You can go at your own pace for yoga, and the space is comfortable and welcoming.

Orthopedic Massage Therapy
Orthopedic massage is a “…one-of-a- kind system…It brings together a combination of techniques: massage, mobilization, neuromuscular re-education, synthesized with Eastern energy practices. It addresses acute and chronic pain and helps to restore function.” (Hendrickson Method) Sessions may deal with soft tissue injuries, repetitive strain issues, emotional stresses and/or simply relaxation.
Karen has been amazing. I came to her with sciatica in my lower back, and she helped conquer that initial issue and then proceeded to teach me to understand my body and its issues, at the same time keeping a record for herself of what my issues are. Her knowledge of body structure and the uniqueness of each person simply makes her a one-of-a-kind, phenomenal healer and trainer. I have been her client for orthopedic massage and yoga for 5 1/2 years, and I have no intention of stopping."

Cardio Dance
This class is a choreographed, dance oriented exercise program infused with the kind of music that gets you on your feet and into shape. We strengthen our cardiovascular system through low to moderate impact cardio, strength training, flexibility, balance and coordination. All levels from beginning to advanced are incorporated into one class. It makes getting into shaped so much more FUN!
There is no better way to start your morning! The cardio dance is energetic, fun and I always get a good workout! Karen is an excellent instructor and choreographer. I always feel better after attending.
